Research Analyst, Data
About us. Defund ASUW is a nonpartisan research and advocacy initiative focused on student government accountability in the State of Washington.
About the role. You will build and maintain data pipelines involving, but not limited to, public records, meeting archives, financial disclosures, and organizational documents in a centralized environment. You will support the research team by developing structured ontologies for incoming data and modify existing models for social and financial graphs.
Qualifications. Currently enrolled at an accredited university or recent graduate. Coursework or experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. Prior experience with Palantir Foundry strongly preferred. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or comparable tools. Ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete datasets.
Compensation. $45–85 per hour. This is a part-time contract position and does not include health insurance, retirement, or paid time off.
